Not fair!

Giving birth makes laughing hurt. Which is why it's totally not fair that someone spiked my husband's Dr Pepper causing him to get interestingly tipsy and start serenading my son with 'I Want To Know What Love Is'. The scary part? I think my baby angel likes it.

Thank god we're back in the Maternity Ward. Safer in case my uterus bursts from too much laughing.

It was just red wine! And I thought I was a lightweight. Does he take requests?

I should kick your arse, Robert Chase. Are you intoxicating my husband? Are you the culprit. And sorry, sweet cheeks. Riley's the only one he's serenading today.

Intoxicated. Past tense. I thought he would notice! Last I saw him, he was walking around with Riley in that baby sling. His drink was conveniently placed...

I'm surrounded by males! Bad, bad sonly influences you lot are. But I still love you all. He's a perfect dad, Chase. I am the most lucky girl to ever walk the earth.

Sure you want to unleash me and my horrible birthing stories on her? Hurts! Hurts, hurts, fucking hurts! Even with our wee one being as a small as he is.

Actually, I think she would like to talk to you about it all. She mentioned it in passing when we were with you soon after you fell into the coma. Trying to convince your other half to go home before he keeled over was like drawing blood from a stone. He was a mess.

I wanted to ask you about that. And thank you and Rogue for taking care of him for me. I didn't mean to check out like that. I would do anything to change it.

Hey, come on, sweetheart. You know you don't need to thank us. Anything you guys need, you give us the shout, okay? He wasn't good, Tara. Not at all. But you know how he is with your diabetes when it takes a turn. He knows its one thing he can't ever really protect you from. But he also needed to step up with Riley while you were asleep. He couldn't have dealt with the Mat staff doing it when he felt it was his duty as a dad.

I know. It breaks my heart, Rob. Did he at least go home for some sleep? Did he eat? He shuts down and stops eating when he's like that. Worries the shit out of me.

He was home for about two hours before he was back again. Riley mentioned Lachlan was emotional and getting angry. But it was understandable, love. He was better off here. He slept beside you where he could be close to you both. He was eating when people brought him things. It might not have been the ideal situation, but it was better all-round. We all took turns making sure he was okay. After the first couple of days, he started to calm down and focus on caring for the baby, which I think helped keep him sane.

Are you scared, Rob? You are, I can tell. I'm sorry. All my hopes and prayers will be with you and Rogue that your turn comes off without a hitch. Just look at our angel as the trial run.

You always did know me well, love. We're lucky, though. We're healthy and things have been fine to date. I feel guilty, though, that no one saw your coma coming, love. We should have known how high risk you could be.

My god, Tara... you're a mummy. I remember all those months ago when you and MacHorny were running around trying to tear each other's clothes off at every turn. Now look. Married with the most gorgeous baby boy in existence. I'm so proud of you both.

Oh wow, that's fucking fantastic, love! I mean, I know why you kept the Brennan and hyphenated, but I also know your Mum and Dad. They'll understand why you're doing this. Dr Tara Campbell. Perfect.
