The photos of my wedding dress I’d cut from the bridal magazine along with the picture of the bridesmaid dress were tucked into the side of the full-length mirror in the honeymoon suite of Skylands Castle, New Jersey. Cameron rested her hand on my hip and smiled at me via the mirror. “There you go, honey. All strapped in. He’s going to have a field day getting you out of this.”

( I bit my lip, a nervous habit Lachie kept picking me up on of late, gently reminding me that we’d be up shit creek without the proverbial paddle if I bit my lip completely off... )
